SJSU Student Volunteers

As HDCC services are student-led, Student Trainees play an essential role in making our work possible. We welcome SJSU students interested in community-centered care and health equity to volunteer with us! Volunteer hours may be applied towards service-learning hours. We are unable to accommodate volunteers who are not current SJSU students.

Volunteer Application Timeline

• Fall: Applications submitted by September 1st @11:59pm will be reviewed for the Fall cycle. Acceptances will be sent by September 15th. 
• Spring: Applications submitted by February 7th @11:59pm will be reviewed for the Spring cycle. Acceptances will be sent by February 22nd.

Please note that we receive a high level of interest from students who want to volunteer with HDCC. Our team will carefully review applications, prioritize students whose studies and interests align with our mission, and reach out to selected applicants with next steps.
