Which student organization are you a member of a student involvement experience?

I’m currently serving as a Student-at-large at A.S. Finance Committee and VP of Internal Communications at BIA Banking and Investment Association.

Why did you become a peer leader?

The qualities of empathy, honor, resilience, and respect that drew me to become a peer leader for students at San Jose State University. Being a transfer student from the College of San Mateo, I can relate to the difficulties incoming students face when adapting to their new environment. Being a peer leader gives me the opportunity to assist them in their academic endeavors.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

For incoming students, my advice is to always ask for help when needed. San Jose State University offers many services that will make students' time here successful. In the event that you are concerned or unsure about something, please stop by JHSSC or any other service center and ask any questions. No matter what you need, we will be happy to assist you.
