The Spartan Speaker Series and Pride Center Presents

In celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month, one of the Most Influential LGBTQ+ People in America. Dustin Lance Black is an Academy Award Winning screenwriter, filmmaker and social activist.

  • Honors graduate of UCLA’s School of Film and Television.
  • Won the Academy Award® Best Original Screenplay for MILK, the biopic of the late civil rights activist Harvey Milk starring Sean Penn. 
  • Created the miniseries WHEN WE RISE for ABC about the modern LGBT Rights Movement in America.

Parking

If you are visiting campus, the nearest parking location is the North Garage on the corner of 10th & San Salvaldor. You may park in general parking which begins on the 3rd floor. Permits must be purchased and are $5.00 after 5:30 pm.
