The UndocuSpartan Student Resource Center (USRC) provides direct support and services to students who are undocumented and to those from mix-status families. Our goal is to ensure that students, regardless of their immigration status, have access to reliable information, equitable resources, and opportunities that support their academic and personal success.
USRC Office Hours
Students and community members can request an appointment to meet with anyone from the USRC to receive support with questions related to education and/or immigration. USRC staff are available to meet with individuals over the phone or via zoom.

Virtual Front Desk and Drop-In: Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Students are welcome to drop-in to our virtual office hours to meet with a USRC Staff member and get assistance with questions and/or concerns.

Campus Partners Drop-In Hours at the USRC
The UndocuSpartan Student Resource Center (USRC) provides students with a safe space to get direct services from some of our key campus partners such as the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office, Career Center, Academic Advising and Retention Services (AARS), and Immigrant Legal Defense. There is no need to schedule an appointment for these drop-in sessions.
Academic Advising Drop-In with AARS
Meet with a general academic advisor during our weekly drop-in hour every Tuesday from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor for: advising regarding
General Education requirements and related policies; navigating academic policies,
course planning, major exploration, help with progress towards degree completion,
improving your academic progress.

Financial Aid and Scholarship Advising
Students who have questions about the CA Dream Act, scholarships, and other types of financial aid, can join virtual drop-in hours to speak with a financial aid advisor from the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office.

Direct immigration legal services are available for FREE to ALL SJSU students, staff, faculty, and their immediate family members. At SJSU, individuals can schedule an appointment with an immigration attorney from Immigrant Legal Defense (ILD), a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing accessible immigration legal services.
