CSU ERFSA Membership
CSU-ERFSA (CSU-Emeritus and Retired Faculty & Staff Association) is a statewide organization. Since its founding, CSU-ERFSA has "centered its activities on the protection and enhancement of retiree benefits".
In addition to representing the collective interests of its members with regard to pension and health care benefits, CSU-ERFSA provides a range of services and benefits to members including a grant program and periodic newsletters with important information for retirees. CSU-ERFSA encourages members involved in research and creative projects to apply for a grant. The small grant program is competitive, with past awards ranging from $100-$1,000. Applications are accepted from July through October.
Membership is open to any retired faculty member, which includes professional librarians, academic administrators, and others who have been accorded faculty status on individual campuses.
Cost of Membership
For new members, the CSU-ERFSA monthly dues are based on a sliding scale that ranges from $5 to $10 per month.
