The Certificate in Business Analytics program is designed for individuals who want to gain insight and make data-driven decisions in all areas of business including marketing, operations, finance, international business, or human resources.
Courses are taught by the Lucas Graduate School of Business faculty. Most courses
are online and asynchronous, with the exception of BUS 260 Managerial Decision Analysis,
an elective that is partially online (with some in-person meetings). You can transfer
12 units to the MBA program if later admitted.

- Prerequisites
To enroll in the Certificate in Business Analytics, you must have completed a college-level statistics course with a grade of B (3.0) or better at an accredited college or university within the last five years.
- Admission Requirements
- 4 year bachelor's degree from a US institution
- A GPA of 3.0

- Current SJSU MBA students can enroll through MySJSU.
- If you are not currently a student at SJSU, please submit the pre-screening form.

- Application Deadlines
For students not currently enrolled at SJSU: Admission is on a rolling basis. Submit the pre-screening form, as early as possible and a Lucas Graduate School staff will evaluate your form and notify you of the results.

This flexible MBA for Professionals program allows you to choose your pace while working on your career goals. By taking 2-3 courses per session, you can be done in 24 months, or 1-2 courses per session and be done in 36 months.
