General Education Advising
Starting Summer 2023, students declared a College of Science major and have 60 or more units earned will utilize the College of Science Success Center advising services for General Education (GE) questions, concerns, and recommendations.
Major Advising questions, concerns, and recommendations for students with 60 or more units earned will refer to their assigned major faculty advisor. For more information regarding faculty major advising visit the College of Science Student Success Center Major Advising webpage.
Submit a request for GE course recommendations or submit your GE questions or concerns to CoS-SSC. College of Science Major Advising can also be accessed through College of Science Advising II Canvas courses. If you do not have access to the College of Science Advising II on Canvas, submit a request College of Science Canvas course Google Form.
Note: Advising for GE requirements will NOT fulfill College of Science Major Advising hold. Refer to your CoS-SSC or Faculty Advisor to inquire about the procedure to complete major advising for College of Science Major Advising Hold removal.
