About Us
The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) Student Success Center is here to help our undergraduate students achieve academic success. We work with students to develop plans that help them attain their personal, educational, and professional goals through academic advising, peer mentoring and tutoring. We also provide guidance on academic probation and other SJSU policies and procedures.

Advising appointments are available virtually.

For general education advising:

For advising related to the major: Dr. Frank Cervone (BS ISDA program coordinator) or Dr. Souvick Ghosh (Academic Coordinator), can help you with any questions pertaining to your major and career pathways.

Resources

Roadmaps: The following roadmaps are sample advising maps to complete the BS in Information Science and Data Analytics degree program in two to four years. Please work with your Academic Advisor to develop your individualized academic plan.

Library resources:

Library sources and other research tools for information science and data analytics.

Writing Tutoring Help:

Writing Specialists can help you organize your paper, cite sources, avoid plagiarism, and use correct grammar and punctuation. They understand the special needs of students learning English as a second language and returning students. All tutoring appointments are scheduled through the writing center’s Online Reservation System.
