Scholarships

The International Student and Scholar Services Office (ISSS) and the Study Abroad and Away Office (SAA) offer a few different scholarships to students every year. Three different scholarships are offered: The Louie Barozzi, Global Spartan, and the Gilman Scholarships. ISSS also offers a Fulbright Visiting Scholars program.

Global Spartan Scholarship

ISSS is pleased to offer scholarships available to you as a global spartan. This past year, SJSU awarded a number of scholarships to international students and students who participated in the study abroad program. Explore the many opportunities available to you to help finance your time at SJSU.

The inaugural Global Spartan Scholarship was created by ISSS in fall 2020 to recognize and provide financial support to our new and continuing, matriculated international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

If you have recently applied or been accepted to SJSU, please apply as a new SJSU Student. If you are currently taking classes at SJSU as an enrolled student, apply as a current SJSU Student.
