What You’ll Learn

Optional Certificates
As a graduate philosophy student at SJSU, you can add one of the following optional certificates to your studies to help guide your intellectual growth. The certificate is awarded concurrently with your MA, provided you complete the relevant coursework for both. Additionally, classes can be dual-counted toward both the degree and the certificate.
