Changing lives through continuous innovation.
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is designed to improve student academic support of first-generation, low-income and educationally disadvantaged students. The program provides admission, academic, and financial assistance to EOP-eligible undergraduate students considered California residents or AB540 students.
The Guardian Scholars Program helps former and current foster youth, unaccompanied homeless youth, and wards of the court. In conjunction with EOP, Guardian Scholars provides a safe, supportive foundation so you can thrive at SJSU—and in life.
EOP requirements are meant to support student’s personal and academic growth by connecting them with SJSU Campus Resources and EOP Services.
EOP PAGEs (Personal and Academic Growth Experiences) encompasses in-person and virutal events that help students develop a breadth of skills that benefit their journey at SJSU and beyond graduation.
For over 50 years, the CSU Educational Opportunity Program has increased access and academic excellence by offering intentional support services and multifaceted community engagement to first generation students.
