Grad Slam: Where SJSU’s brightest minds tackle the world’s toughest problems. In Grad Slam, graduate students compete in front of a live audience and a panel of judges, and are scored on their ability to communicate their impactful, and innovative research, scholarship, or creative activity.

Grad Slam allows students to develop their presentation skills, receive a copy of their presentation, gain professional development opportunities, and build connections. The three winners receive cash prices: First Place: $1,200, Second Place: $800, Audience Choice: $500.
