Lab Access and Reservations
Proposed content for requesting, scheduling and preparing to use the Digital Twin Lab.

Who May Request Access
- SJSU faculty and staff leading approved teaching, research or demonstration activities.
- Students participating in an approved course, research project, capstone or supervised independent project.
- Campus units collaborating on an approved digital twin, simulation, data or physical AI activity.
- External partners participating through an approved SJSU collaboration or event.
Types of Reservations
- Course or class session.
- Research group work session.
- Individual or small-team project work.
- Workshop, training session or demonstration.
- Equipment-specific session involving robotics, VR, servers or large displays.
Suggested Reservation Process
- Submit a request with the date, time, number of participants, activity description and required equipment or software.
- Identify a responsible faculty or staff sponsor when required.
- Complete orientation, safety and account requirements before the reservation date.
- Receive written confirmation and follow the approved setup, cleanup and data-handling procedures.
- Report equipment problems and end all software, robot and server sessions before leaving.
Priority and Responsible Use
Because the lab supports university-wide teaching and research, reservations may need to be prioritized according to instructional schedules, approved research needs, equipment availability, safety requirements and staff support. Users are responsible for protecting equipment, preserving shared project spaces and following all applicable SJSU policies.
