Orientation Days

Once you’ve enrolled at SJSU, go to New Student & Family Programs to complete the online SpartanLink program and sign up for an all-day orientation session. You can also sign up to be an Orientation Leader and welcome new Spartans to SJSU!


Financial Aid and Scholarships

Concerned about paying for college? The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (FASO) is here to help you and your family get the money you need through federal and state grants as well as loans, work study, and scholarships.


Testing Services

Sign up at the Testing Office to take the Calculus Placement exam (if required by your major), Writing Skills Test (required for all students before completing 75 undergraduate units), makeup exams, and other tests.


Student Records & Graduation

Go to the Registrar’s Office to update your contact information, learn more about graduation, or request a transcript, grade change, or enrollment verification.


Living on Campus

Learn more about SJSU’s residence halls, apartment buildings, meal plans and more at University Housing Services.


Staying Healthy and Happy at SJSU

Hitting Some Bumps in the Road?

If you ever find yourself facing personal issues, housing problems, or financial challenges, a Case Manager can help you find the resources you need to get back on track. SJSU Cares provides food assistance to students in need. And you can report any concerns you have (for yourself or anyone else) through the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT).

If you feel you have been treated unfairly by any member of the faculty, staff, or administration at SJSU, the Ombudsperson is here to listen—and to help resolve your issue in a fair and timely manner.
