BS in Engineering Technology

The BS in Engineering Technology (BSET) provides two concentrations:

  • Computer Network System Management (CNSM) prepares students with knowledge, skills, and practical experiences in the Internet of Things (IoT), network theory and administration, wireless communication, network security and prevention management, and cybersecurity management.
  • Manufacturing Systems (Mfg Sys) prepares students with knowledge, skills, and practical experiences in innovative manufacturing processes and management, computer integrated manufacturing, robotics and control systems, and computer aided manufacturing.

Mission

The mission of the BS degree in Engineering Technology is to provide students with opportunities to develop both in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in basic and advanced applied engineering topics, as well as an understanding of the managerial and leadership for success in positions in technology management.
