REMINDER- Students may not Intern on days that the campus is closed. This is related to the University’s Risk Management Policy and Student Liability.
San José State University is closed on the following dates during the 2023-2024 school year:
- Labor Day- September 4th, 2023
- Veterans Day (observed)- November 10th, 2023
- Thanksgiving Holiday- November 23rd, 2023
- Rescheduled Holiday- November 24th 2023
- Winter Break-December- 25th, 2023 through January 1st, 2024
- Dr. Martin Luther King- Jr. Day-January 15th, 2024
- Cesar Chavez Day (observed)- April 1st, 2024
Students may intern during the University's Spring break as the campus is open. However, we encourage Students to take their break (or some sort of break if their agency is a school and the spring break dates do not coincide with SJSU’s).
