Minor in GIS
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning offers three minor programs. The Minor in Geographic Information Science is oriented toward undergraduate students interested in incorporating Geographic Information Systems (GIS), cartography, and/or Remote Sensing into their programs. To be awarded a minor, at least 12 units of coursework must be completely distinct and separate from the coursework in the major (University Policy S16-4). If you are interested in applying for an undergraduate minor in Geographic Information Science, please contact the Geography Advisor.
