The Lucas College of Business is proud to offer the following scholarships for our

2020 Scholarship Recipients
Clarence F. & Lyle V. Burmahln Scholarship
Providing scholarships to both graduate and undergraduate students in the School of
Business.
Diridon Family Leadership Scholarship
Scholarships for upper-division and graduate students enrolled full-time in the Lucas
College and Graduate School of Business, who have exhibited leadership potential and
effort within the College, demonstrated by involvement in activities such as, but
not limited to, student organizations or on and off campus activities.
Robert H. Geisler Scholarship
Providing a scholarship to a student in the College of Business.
Jesse & Lois Reynolds Scholarship
Scholarships to both graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Business.

Maria Lilia Rodriguez Scholarship
Applicants must be College of Business upper division students with majors in business
who are completing their initial baccalaureate program. Recipients will be selected
based on significant involvement in student organizations & services.
Jack Holland Scholarship
Scholarships for full-time upper division students in the College of Business who
are completing their initial baccalaureate program. Recipients will be selected for
his or her leadership and involvement in extra-curricular activities on campus, personal
achievements and honors and academic merit.
Glenn George Scholarship
Eligible applicants in the College of Business must be enrolled in one of the programs
resulting in the award of the master of business administration.
Coates Family Scholarship
To provide scholarships for seniors with majors in business who are completing their
initial baccalaureate program.
Wayne H. and Frances G. Towne Scholarship
Providing scholarships for students majoring in accounting. Applicants must be enrolled
full time with a 3.0 GPA.
Stan Winvick Memorial - AMD Human Resource Scholarship
Reward excellence in the SJSU senior honors Human Resources management class, providing
an annual scholarship to a Human Resources management major toward the costs of tuition,
fees and books during his or her senior year. Human Resource Management majors with
high GPAs will be invited to apply in their junior year for this prestigious award.
Woelffel Foundation Business Scholarship
Scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Business.

Ronald and Patricia VandenBerghe Family Scholarship
Tuition scholarships for graduate students studying for their Masters of Business
Administration, Accounting, Taxation or Real Estate; They must have a GPA of at least
3.6.
Donn A. Burch Scholarship
Dean's scholarships for students majoring in Business. Applicants must be enrolled
full time (12 units or more) and have a 2.4-3.0 cumulative GPA. Student are eligible
to receive this scholarship more than once.
Claudia Greathead Scholarship
Dean's award for the study abroad program. Students must be enrolled as a full time
student (12 units or more), be continuous matriculation pursing a degree in any major
in the College of Business, and remain in good academic standing.
CIO Scholarship
Scholarships for undergraduate students in information technology, computer science,
engineering, math and science in the listed priority order. Recipients will be selected
by a committee convened by the Chairperson of the Management Information Systems Department
in the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business. The recipients may be incoming
freshman, or transfer student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or high school equivalent.
E. N. Thayer Scholarship
Scholarships to undergraduate marketing majors in the College of Business. Student
must have financial needs and be in good standing with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.
T. Kyle Williams Memorial Scholarship
Annual scholarships to one or more accounting undergraduates.
Mineta Transportation Institute Scholarship
Support students in the Master of Transportation Management degree program or related
certificate programs - student tuition, textbooks, class materials and personal expenses
related to educational goals at the discretion of the selected students.
Ivy and Kenneth Laverty Scholarship
Scholarship to a student in the College of Business Accounting and Finance Department.Laverty scholarship recipient - Huong Nguyen
Douglas James Radcliff Scholarship
Scholarships for students who graduated high school within Santa Clara County with
demonstrated financial need, good academic standing, and are majoring in Marketing.
This scholarship can be given to previous year's recipient, provided the student maintains
good academic standing.
John Malcolm Aitken Scholarship
Scholarships to undergraduate students in the College of Business. Paying up to half
the cost of tuition and fees and modest stipend for day-to-day living expenses as
a student. Recipients shall meet the following criteria: 1) Full-time, undergraduate
student in the College of Business; 2) College of Business student-leader participating
in the SJSU Associated Student government, individual class government, honors societies,
campus clubs or activities. Preference will be given to those involved in the College
of Business student clubs, activities, or government.
Dr. Peter Salzburg Lee Global Seminar Scholarship
Scholarship to a student who wishes to attend the Salzburg Global International Study
program. Applicants must be fully matriculated and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Rodney Dale Friedle Scholarship
Scholarship to a student in the College of Business. Students must be in good standing
with a 3.0 GPA or greater and have financial need.
John M. Rogers Scholarship
Scholarships to outstanding graduate students in the College of Business.
Diane Malane Graduate Student Business Scholarship
Providing scholarships to graduate students in the College of Business.
Dr Wanda and Donald Blockhus Scholarship
Scholarships for students majoring in marketing within the Lucas College and Graduate
School of Business with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Mary Lou and Glen Guttormsen Scholarship
Scholarships to students enrolled in the College of Business. Scholarship awards are
intended for students who face challenges in pursuing their degree in the College
of Business and have a minimum 3.0 grade average.

Carolyn B Hayes Business Administration Scholarship
Scholarships for students in the field of business administration.
Jyotsna Kaki Exemplary Spirit Scholarship
Scholarship for a student with a concentration in the School of Information Systems
and Technology with a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
Linda F. Morasch Business Scholarship
Providing scholarships for students actively involved in the Black Student Union or
the National Pan-Hellenic Council with a minimum 2.5 GPA in the Lucas College and
Graduate School of Business.
Anu Vuorikoski-Bullis Scholarship
Scholarships for undergrad and graduate students in financial need. Undergraduate
students should be majoring in Accounting and Finance at the College of Business,
with a minimum 3.7 GPA or be SJSU Accounting and Finance Graduates pursuing an MBA
or other masters at the Lucas Graduate School of Business with a minimum undergraduate
GPA of 3.7 or more.
John and Susan Baird Scholarship
For undergraduate students with majors in the College of Business who are enrolled
full time and have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
Margaret Bales Brady Scholarship
For accounting students in the College of Business.
Gino and Joan Blefari Scholarship
Scholarships for students majoring in marketing who are enrolled full-time and in
good academic standing in the College of Business.
Promotional Products Education Foundation - BrandVia Scholarship
Scholarships for students majoring in marketing who are enrolled full-time and in
good academic standing in the College of Business. Preference for students with financial
need and participating in the athletics program.
Gloria and Michael Chiang Scholarship
For students with majors in the College of Business who are enrolled full time and
have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a financial need.
Max Labs Scholarship
Scholarships for students in good academic standing majoring in MIS and/or active
in the MIS Student Association (MISA). Preference will be given to students who are
involved in the Women in Business Association or similar organization.
Gary Radine Scholarship
For students with majors in the College of Business who are enrolled full-time and
demonstrate involvement in the Hispanic community and have a financial need.
