A Message from the Department Chair
Welcome to our website. I hope you will find it to be a useful resource.
The SJSU anthropology department has been affected in significant ways by the public
health crisis facing our region and the rest of the world. After more than a year
of fully online courses, our department will be transitioning to a mix of in-person
and online classes during the Fall 2021 semester. We are committed to offering a high-quality
education to all students.
The anthropology office will be reopening four days a week (Monday through Thursday)
beginning in August 2021, though all advising will continue to be conducted online.
If you have questions related to one of your courses, please contact your course instructor
via email. If you have advising questions or requests, please email me at email@example.com. For General Education advising, contact the ACCESS Success Center.
Please stay up to date by checking SJSU's Health Advisories website.
