Tilting Towards Equity

Overview

TILTing Towards Equity is a hybrid hands-on workshop series that uses the internationally renowned  TILT (Transparency in Learning and Teaching) framework, which prioritizes clear communication between instructors and students. Championed by the CSU system,  TILT encourages instructors to openly share course objectives, grading, and teaching methods, fostering  inclusive, collaborative, and equitable classroom and learning environments.

The Spring 2026 program supports faculty in applying the fundamentals of TILT in their own teaching with the guidance of instructional designers.

Dates

The program takes place between February 5th and May 7th and requires participation in workshop sessions and completion of Canvas course activities by the end of the program.
