If you choose to attend SJSU, we will support your writing through our tutoring services, workshops, and events. We offer in-person and online appointments, as well as drop-in style support.
Our team of writing tutors go through extensive training, which involves all aspects of writing, as well as supporting multilingual students. Many of them are also trained to work with graduate-level students.
As you consider coming to SJSU, you can immediately access our online writing resources that are available to anyone–you do not need to be a Spartan!
Admitted Students (Frosh and Transfer)
Welcome to SJSU! We understand that you have a lot of information to take in before your classes start. We would like to make things easier by offering three options to access writing support as soon as you need it.
- Attend one of the Account Set-Up Sessions via Zoom. The sessions take place one week before the semester begins, which is an ideal time to register, activate your account, and start booking tutoring appointments.
- If you cannot attend an Account Set-Up Session, visit our Appointment Help page and follow the instructions.
- If you have any questions or concerns about getting started, contact us. The front-desk team are SJSU students like you and are here to help.
