Student Assistant Opportunities

Student Assistants serve as representatives of the Student Wellness Center and must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Due to the nature of work, Student Assistants must have the ability to maintain confidentiality, be reliable, have good communication skills, and be proactive in assisting the office staff in a variety of tasks.

Areas we hire for:

Peer Health Educators (PHE)

PHE’s are a group of trained student leaders that promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles on campus by raising awareness and knowledge on various wellness topics

Graphic Design

Graphic Design Interns support the Student Wellness Center in all of its fliers, pamphlets, and advertising material designs

Social Media & Marketing

Social Media and Marketing Interns support the Student Wellness Center by selecting appropriate social media outlets for advertising and placement of our program efforts.

Physical Therapy Aide

Physical Therapy Aides get hands-on observation in a clinic setting that is eligible for Kinesiology internship credits.

Nutrition/CHEW

CHEW student assistants provide training/cooking classes and information about the benefits of healthy foods and a balanced diet.

Shared Services Receptionist

Shared Services Student Assistants greet and direct students to their appointments. Communicating effectively with students and staff alike.
