About Michael Hoosier:
Michael Hoosier is a Lecturer with the Record Clearance Project. Mike first volunteered with RCP as a law student while attending Stanford Law School, and later as an attorney volunteer before joining the team. Outside of RCP, Mike is Senior Attorney Fellow at Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto in its Economic Advancement Program. At CLSEPA, Mike's caseload primarily focuses on reentry work, as well as workers rights. Prior to working at CLSEPA, Mike worked in the Alameda County Public Defender's Clean Slate Unit. Mike received his JD from Stanford Law School and his B.A. in political science from Washington University in St. Louis with minors in philosophy and writing. In his free time he enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
