Choosing a Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program
Courses in a Faculty-Led Program led by a Nutrition, Food Science, and Packaging Department faculty member can be used towards a Nutrition major or a General Education area requirement. Department faculty currently offer FLPs to the following destinations during summer or winter session:
- Japan (Summer)
- Italy (Summer)
- Spain (Summer and Winter)

Effective Date of Requirement is Fall 2021
The effective date applies to:
- All Nutrition Science majors of all concentrations.
- Freshmen entering SJSU on or after the semester listed above.
- Transfer students entering SJSU with catalog rights on or after the semester listed above.
