The process for submission and review of your work has changed. Please read the Thesis/Dissertation Guide carefully. Email any questions thereafter to CGS at with subject "Question."

New for Fall 2022! Graduate Writing Coach:

  • Self-referral. Engineering students only.
  • During one-on-one sessions the writing coaches provide students with specialized support in areas such as understanding the assignment, approaching it strategically, recognizing their audience, adopting a professional tone, as well as generating, organizing, revising, and improving their writing in their papers, project proposals, literature reviews, theses, and annotated bibliographies.
  • If you are interested in this free service to graduate engineering students, please complete the Student Intake Form now. Once your self-referral is received, the ESSC will contact you via email to schedule the first appointment. Slots for coaching will fill up as we approach the end of the semester, so sign up right now. 
  • Talk with your instructor (GWAR certified course or project/thesis) or a faculty advisor if you think could benefit from this program.
