Students must apply for graduation in order to receive their degree. View eligibility requirements on the Registrar's website. Interdisciplinary / General Engineering students must see their advisors to apply. All other students in the CoE should apply online [pdf].

Live Graduation Workshops are held near semester-end (see ESSC calendar for dates & times). An online graduation workshop is also available.

Students graduatingParticipate in commencement

Commencement is the ceremony most people think of as graduation. An application must be submitted in order to participate in commencement. Eligible students need to register for the in-person commencement ceremony on the MarchingOrder website by Friday, April 22 at 12:00 p.m. Guest tickets will be accessible through the student’s MarchingOrder profile at any time (even after the deadline passes), as long as the student is registered “Yes”.

Open to all graduates from Class of Spring and Summer 2022: visit the Grad Fest website for more information about in-person commencement ceremonies, online recognition, vendor specials (academic regalia, class rings, graduation photos, gifts), and important deadlines not to be missed!

Spring 2022 Commencement

The ceremony for Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Provident Credit Union Event Center. (Please see schedule for times by department.)
