Josh Nelson is an educator and a designer. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and a Master’s degree in design from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He has more than 10 years of professional experience creating meaningful products and managing creative, collaborative and multi-disciplinary teams. His work has been recognized with several awards including an IDSA IDEA Gold and an IxDA Best in Category.
Josh has focused his research on investigating how people-product interactions transform experiences and connect people. Josh is particularly interested in improving experiences for patients in healthcare by developing innovative medical devices, positive patient experiences and implementing a patient-centered approach to design.
