San Jose State University houses six zip cars on campus. With a Zipcar membership, you are able to rent any available car by the hour. To become a member, you have to be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. All memberships include gas and insurance on the vehicles. BayWheels offers bicycle sharing memberships that allows downtown area residents to rent bicycles. There are exclusive student and employee offers and discounted rates for annual memberships. Baywheels also offers $5 memberships under their Bike Share for All program for individuals who qualify for CalFresh, SFMTA Lifeline Pass, or PG&E CARE utility discount. The General Services Center, located in the student union, offers 50% off 20-ride and monthly train passes. One ticket is sold per allotment cycle. Ticket purchases are accepted with cash, credit and debit card. You must present a valid Tower ID card at the time of purchase.

Highway 17 Express
The General Services Center, located in the student union, offers discounted 15-ride and 31-day Highway 17 passes. Ticket purchases are accepted with cash, credit and debit card. You must present a valid Tower ID card at the time of purchase.
