Databases

SJSU IT provides database services, which are hosted on SJSU private and GCP/Azure public Clouds.

The primary role of SJSU Database Administrator (DBA) group is to ensure maximum up time for the database so that it is always available when needed. They proactively monitor and administer all critical databases.

SJSU IT officially supports the following databases:

• MySQL
• MSSQL
• Oracle

Requesting Service & Support

To request a database service, submit a ticket request. Requests are generally processed within 5-10 business days.
