Orff Level I Training

This two-week intensive training will immerse visual and performing arts educators in the world of Orff Schulwerk, a multi-faceted pedagogy that focuses on essential elements of music, dance, art, and drama.

YMP (Young Musicians Project) 

The Young Musicians' Project (YMP) provides private and group lessons to youth from low-income backgrounds.

MEWE (Music Educator Workshop Ensemble)

Music education students develop a knowledge and basic understanding of rehearsing and teaching jazz bands, concert bands, string orchestras, and choirs in this fully comprehensive ensemble.

Summer Camp

SJSU's music summer camp offers an enriching experience for young musicians. Campers will have the opportunity to hone their skills in flute, brass, strings, or choir while also learning about music theory and history. Led by experienced instructors, this camp provides a supportive and fun environment for musical exploration and growth.
