INTENSIVE STUDY

San Jose State University's Summer Flute Institute offers young flutists (ages 10 - 18) an intensive, college-prep, musically educational experience under the guidance of distinguished world-class faculty. The Summer Flute Immersion is specifically designed for young, advanced students and SJSU Flute Majors, providing them with the exclusive chance to fully immerse themselves in intensive study alongside Prof. Ráyo Furuta and another highly respected pedagogue. The program emphasizes repertoire, technical mastery, and professional development.

SILICON VALLEY FLUTE COMPETITION

All participants of the Summer Flute Institute (June 17-21) will have the unique opportunity to compete in the Silicon Valley Young Flute Artist Competition. Prizes will range from new head joints from Burkart Flutes to a music shopping spree!
